Ana Borden was brought on board to assist with the bar design, which is the focal point of the restaurant. Immediately, she proved herself as a competent and reliable resource. Ana was able to translate our ideas into a fixed form, while helping us negotiate around architectural and design obstacles. She coordinated with our contractor, subcontractors, and vendors to provide a complete and refined product within our limited time requirements. Ultimately we received a remarkable final product that blends seamlessly with the rest of our interior. There is no doubt we will be consulting Ana for future projects.

My project was a complete renovation and addition in a historic neighborhood. Ana’s exterior / interior architecture drawings and design recommendations resulted in a spectacularly beautiful and authentic final result. In particular, she assisted me in navigating the challenging layers of City regulation which delayed the project. This portion of the project included regular liaison with City Planners and Staff. We hired Ana and AMB2 to design a second-story balcony area with a spiral staircase leading to the pool deck below. We also wanted to incorporate a small outdoor kitchen by the pool under this balcony addition. Space was definitely a constraint, but Ana listened to our concept and ideas and incorporated them into a great design. She met with us regularly throughout the design process to get our input and to tweak the blueprints. And, very importantly, she was very patient with us.
